I worked with a U.S. EPA team to develop a training program for municipal staff.
I helped the team transition the pilot program into a replicable model by developing a published curriculum, capturing program impacts, and establishing a Train-the-Trainer program.
Program Development
As we developed and ran pilot sessions, I built a curriculum of worksheets, learning modules, and facilitator guidance.
Measuring Our Impact
To evaluate the pilot programs, I used a combination of surveys and interviews.
“Workshops were eye-opening and saved us a lot of steps which would have taken us a year or more to figure out ourselves.” —Conservation Commission Agent
Three communities have implemented stormwater enterprise funds, a sustainable funding mechanism, as a result of the workshops—our strongest metric of success.
Expanding the Program
I recruited facilitation experts for a Train-the-Trainer program. Trainers from two organizations have now replicated the workshop in their states.
