South Central Oregon Post-Wildfire Resilience

The South Central Oregon Post-Fire Resilience Strategy is a first-of-its-kind, science-driven, cross-jurisdictional approach to restore resilient forests in Oregon's Klamath and Lake counties in the aftermath of six large fires that burned nearly 700,000 acres combined. I had a blast working with the fantastically detailed data powering this strategy. First, I created a series of maps to translate the GIS process and the results of the GIS prioritization analysis. These were done as full spreads to work as the backdrop for the beautiful, designed plan. From there, I condensed the meat of the 100+ page plan into an interactive, web-based story, combining scrollytelling with immersive maps, images, and data visualization.
