Partners: Salt Marsh Restoration, Assessment, & Monitoring Program, Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Rhode Island Natural History Survey, Save The Bay
I partnered up with a salt marsh collaborative to convey its unique role and contributions for leading state agencies and funders. I delivered branding, a website, and visuals. The web architecture highlights the program’s mission and key strategies. I also built a plug-and-play data clearinghouse linked to a Google Drive system. The website will be ready for launch pending final content input.
To support the group’s evolution from ad-hoc partnerships to a standalone program, I designed an information graphic to convey the value proposition of this decades-long effort to protect Rhode Island’s disappearing salt marshes.
The logo mark employs tonal variation to evoke the threat of rising seas and drowning marshes. The color system relates to the rich, earthy colors of salt marsh habitat while feeling academic and conservation-minded.
The website is designed to market the program to funders and potential partners while providing a hub for information exchange. It features the program mission, foundational resources, and clearinghouse built on Google Drive.
